Today I am ramdomly putting some thoughts down in response to life.
As you can see by the blank spot I have a lot to say. Christmas time is such a hectic time that sometime we forget to just stop and take and breath. Reflect on our lives. And then thank God we made it through another year. We run around trying to find the best gift for sister sue and brother billy that we just run out of everything. Time. Money. Energry.
Christmas: You here all about everyone and them not wanting to offend anyone. So they have decided to say Happy Holidays. Then all the Christian group get together and protest you have taken Christ out of Christmas. What I am tried of is why I have to consider everyones right and feelings because they are not a Christian to the point that my rights are taken away. I have the right to speak, to worship and share my faith and they have the right to say they don't want to hear. But my right to have my faith and spread God's word should never be denied. I think the world has gone to far Being poliltically correct.

Growing Up
When your young, people tell you to grow up or act your age. It gets really old. Really, think about it. How do you act you age? Put a group of people together and there are so many different levels that they act on, think on or even laugh on. So maybe we are acting our age. It's just how the other person wants us to act. When I get together with my mom and grandma and Heather we all act completely loney and it is wonderful. My grandma is in her 80's, my mom in her 60's, I'm in my 40's and Heather is in her almost 20's. But we all act the same. If someone ask us to act out age we will all just sit there not saying a word until we couldn't stand it anymore and all broke out into hysterics.
Friends are always a big part of growing up. We love with them and we hate with them. But as you grow up. The large group known as "WE" gets smaller until usually there are just me and you. Heather has been realizing this in her own life and seeing that those extra special friends through high school weren't all that extra or special. There is usually one if you both are willing to make the effort. But it takes an effort. When Heather was in kindergarten she came home one day crying saying no one would play with her today. I did a little asking of questions to discover she had gone outside and sat on a box waiting for others to come and invite her to play. I explained how we have to get off our box and go find the friends. You can't just sit there waiting for others. Heather is lucky to still have Red as a great friend. When I was growing up the only friend I truly saw my mother have were her brothers and sisters. I never saw my dad with any except my mom's family. Now as an old woman (hahaha!!! acting my age) I have one truly extra special friend. I love him more with each passing moment. I can't understand why he loves me and it doesn't matter. All I know is he does unconditionally just as I love him. We have been all over the place and through a lot of houses and so called friends but he is my one and only. The one I cherish with all my heart and never want to spend a day without him in my life. This year is our 24Th wedding anniversary and to me it seems no more than a few hours and an eternity all at the same time. I love you James Reed.
Sometimes we have to make friends with ourselves also. It can be hard to sit somewhere completely by yourself and know that the only one you can count on is you. But there are times in our lives that that is what God needs us to do. The verse "Be still and know that I am God." It can be tough but to know ourselves is to learn about God if He lives and breaths in you. But I have been through this time of growth. It can be harder than having family and friend problems because the only ones there to blame are yourself and God. And He is perfect so....... Well the point is "Be still and know that I am God" is a literal statement and require in life. Usually before God works something grand through you. It is a preparations time. And it is really important. So grab this time and make the most of it. Let God live through you and help you to GROW UP. God bless.

Today
Today, I have entered a new phase of my life
I NOW HAVE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT.....
Sounds simple doesn't it... it wasn't, I had to have
lots of help....
But I am up and running I think... Thought for the day

TIME
Time. I sit here and ponder time. While I am pondering it I am wasting it. Each second I sit here and think is a second I can never get back. I sit and think of all things I would like to be doing and know that I physically can't do them makes me sad. I feel I have wasted many seconds of my life. But I also know that God has planned my life so are my seconds truly wasted or are they a quiet way to reflect on God? Yes I do believe some were wasted on my part and some were God's seconds that I allowed Him to speak to me. How many times do we run around doing things and forget to listen for His still small voice. We should all be out doing God's work by spread His name and words. But until we know His voice we cannot speak for Him. We must listen, learn and apply. And then go out share our knowledge to all those who need to hear. Time. My children are all grown. I don't need to raise them any more. I need to show them how to be an adult and how to be in this world and not apart of it. Or at least not get damaged by it. God has my time in His hands and knows each and every second what will happen. That is very comforting when things are so troubled and the future looks bleak.

Our 1st entry: My Grandma
Tonight I went to dinner with my daughter, mother and grandmother. We had 4 generations of our family. When I was young I had a picture taken of my great grandmother, grandmother, mom and me. I cherish this to this day. When Heather was very young we also took a picture like that and I am sure in 20 years she will cherish it also. I love my grandmother so much. She is the old fashion kind. The one that always made homemade bread and did crafts by hand. Over the years she has made so of my most prized possessions. Baby quilts, pillow quilts, dollies, and many other items to many to list them all. When I was young at Christmas time all the men and boys basically got the same gift and all the women and girls received the same thing basically. One year she saved all her coffee cans. She spray painted them gold and painted holly on them. Then she painted our names on our on special can. Inside everyone got a yo yo, some candy, and house shoes she had crochet herself. There were a few other thing in the adults can and probably some other small toy in the kids but what stands out to me the most was those cans. You need to know she had 6 children and each were married that makes 12. Then most already had kids and I know for sure at this time she had at least 8. That is 20 people that she made these cans for. Every year at Christmas I think about that year and wish I could do the same for my family. With me there is not near that many. Maybe this year I can.
My grandmother also taught me many things about crafts. We have spent hours making angels out of beads and other Christmas ornaments. We have created many things out of nothing. She can look at almost any project and figure out how to make it without any kind of pattern of instructions. She is not superman or wonder woman she is more than that she is MY GRANDMA.
